Winning “The World’s Tallest Building”: Powered by JANGHO’s Global Expansion Strategy
Jeddah Tower, a national landmark of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision, with a total investment of approximately 20 billion USD and a total construction area of 530,000 ㎡, integrates commercial, office, hotel, luxury apartments, and the world’s highest viewing platform. It is a vertically integrated urban complex that attracts global attention. In June 2025, JANGHO successfully won the contract for the curtain wall project of this project, marking a significant breakthrough for Chinese curtain wall enterprises in the international ultra-high-end market.

Huang Yongjun highlighted that “global expansion layout + technology-driven innovation” was the key formula for JANGHO’s successful bid for the Jeddah Tower curtain wall project.
Currently, JANGHO has established 7 production bases and over ten overseas branches, with operations spanning more than 30 countries and regions. We have built a full-service supply chain encompassing early-stage consulting, design development, intelligent manufacturing, installation, and maintenance services. With a combination of global resources and localized services, JANGHO provides customized solutions for international high-end projects, helping it stand out in global competition.
Eight Key Technological Challenges Overcome to Address Super High-Rise Construction Issues
In response to 8 major technical challenges posed by the harsh tropical desert climate, super high-rise structural deformation, and extreme wind loads at Jeddah Tower, Huang Yongjun elaborated on JANGHO’s innovative solutions, showcasing China’s global leading level in curtain wall technology.

Facing environmental challenges such as high temperatures, high salt content, strong ultraviolet radiation, and large temperature differences, JANGHO selected high-end materials and adopted multi-layer sealing and cavity corrosion protection designs to ensure the long-term stability of the curtain wall. For super high-rise structural deformation issues, JANGHO employed BIM and finite element analysis technology to predict deformation and achieved precise compensation through geometric pre-adjustment and adjustable connectors. Coupled with a structural health monitoring system for dynamic correction, the risk of misalignment and seal failure was effectively mitigated.

Additionally, the BIM-based material management platform allows for full-cycle material status visualization and tracking. This system, together with ultra-fast construction elevators and large-tonnage tower cranes forming the vertical logistics system, resolved efficiency and coordination challenges in super high-rise curtain wall construction.
Innovative Design and Construction Leading Industry Technology Upgrades
The project for Jeddah Tower includes 8 major curtain wall systems. The main tower adopts a high-performance unitized glass curtain wall system, while the apartment areas are equipped with dedicated balcony curtain wall systems, which meet functional requirements while perfectly aligning with the building’s “palm leaf” streamlined appearance. To accommodate structural displacement in the super high-rise structure, JANGHO innovatively designed 40mm horizontal joints and a special elastic sealing structure, coupled with a flexible fireproof coating system, ensuring the curtain wall maintains excellent water tightness and air tightness while meeting fire safety codes.

During the construction phase, JANGHO integrated intelligent manufacturing and industrialized construction concepts. With its intelligent manufacturing base in Guangzhou, JANGHO deployed automated processing lines for aluminum mullion fabrication and fully automated glazing systems. The MES system was used for full-process quality control, providing a solid quality assurance foundation. The project has successfully passed 32 international standard tests, including air tightness, water tightness, and extreme temperature cycling, highlighting the robust quality of Chinese curtain wall manufacturing.
Empowering Global Expansion Together, Shaping the Future of the Industry
The FDC conference provided an important platform for domestic and international curtain wall companies to connect and exchange technologies. By sharing the success of the Jeddah Tower project, JANGHO demonstrated the technical advantages and management capabilities in ultra-high-rise and complex environment projects, offering a replicable and scalable model for the industry’s global expansion.
In the future, JANGHO will continue to focus on green, intelligent, integrated, and systematic development strategies, deepening its presence in the global high-end market, continuously breaking through technical barriers with contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese strength to global architecture, and working hand in hand with industry partners to navigate the globalized market.
